Glamis is a recreational park that allows open off-roading. The sand dunes at Glamis and south towards ButterCup Valley
Usually the sand dunes host thousands of people who come to ride the dunes in their customized dune buggies and all terrain vehicles.
During the week there are few visitors but on large weekends such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years the population of Glamis swells to over 250,000 people.
